Since 1972, Shelley Metz Baumann Hawk has provided structural engineering services to architects, contractors and owners. Originally founded as Lantz and Jones, the firm changed its name to Lantz Jones & Nebraska, Inc. in 1975 to reflect a change in ownership. Driven by our client's needs, Lantz Jones and Nebraska had offices in Charleston, West Virginia and Stuart, Florida. We still perform work in those areas, but it is from our Columbus, Ohio office. During the past two decades, the ownership has transitioned from Bill Lantz, Tom Jones and Jim Nebraska to Bill Shelley, Stephen Metz, Bob Baumann and Scott Hawk. This transition prompted the name change to Shelley Metz Baumann Hawk, Inc. in 2005.
Our reputation for excellent work has propelled our firm to experience tremendous growth. Able to handle a diverse range of projects, we have experience in everything from educational facilities and medical centers to courthouses and commercial buildings. Our team of engineers works hard to make the vision for the project a reality. Dedicated to excellence, our thoroughness and commitment to innovation makes us the right choice for any project.
