Columbus Jack wins prestigious James B. Recchie Design Award
Posted on October 16, 2014
We are pleased to announce that our project, the Columbus Jack, was recently awarded the Columbus Landmark Foundation’s James B. Recchie Design Award. Founded in 1977, Columbus Landmarks advocates for, promotes and preserves Columbus landmarks and neighborhoods.
The Columbus Jack building was once an abandoned warehouse in Columbus’ Brewery District. In 2011, the building underwent a major transformation to become the new home of WSA Studio, a Columbus-based architecture firm. In November 2013, this project also received an AIA Columbus Design Merit Award from AIA Columbus.
